What should I do if my post-graduation work permit is about to expire?

I am a Canadian graduate, and my work permit will expire in February next year. My score is not high enough for Express Entry. What should I do if I want to continue working in Canada?

If your score is still not high enough to receive an invitation from Express Entry, you can ask your employer if they are willing to support you with an LMIA employer-specific work permit. This requires your employer to first apply for an LMIA approval from ESDC Canada.

Additionally, you should look into the provincial nominee program in your province. If you meet the requirements and are approved for the provincial nomination, you can also apply for a work permit (IRPA 204(C), LMIA exemption code T13).
