  How can I sponsor my parents to come to Canada?

  I have been a permanent resident for two years and I meet the financial requirements (LICO), how can I sponsor my parents to come to Canada?

  Please refer to the “Family Sponsorship” section of the program guide for detailed information. Note that the Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship Program for 2024 is not accepting new applications. If you did not submit an expression of interest in 2020, you are not eligible to apply at this time.

  If you wish for your parents to stay in Canada for more than 6 months, they may be eligible to apply for a Super Visa.
